Lewis Betts

Lewis has been in love with clothes and fashion from an early age. Her interest in fashion has taken on many forms, from playing ‘personal shopper’ with friends and family, to being on both sides of the camera. One of her best-loved activities is spending time with all of her favorite people, especially her three younger siblings. Originally from the small town of Henderson, NC, she grew up in Chapel Hill. Lewis graduated from Guilford College in 2010 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Communications. Her interest in modeling evolved from studying the history of photography while in college. Lewis’ interests include finding amazing treasures while thrift shopping, taking road trips, and watching over-the-top horror movies. She loves to travel and has enjoyed soaking in the sights (and styles) of places like Savannah, Georgia and Barcelona, Spain. If she had to choose just one person whose aesthetic inspired her, it would be Dita von Teese.

Shooting the “Skin Deep” shot for Atomic Cowlick's Halloween scene is one of her favorite modeling experiences. She found everything about the makeup, styling, and set to be extremely inspiring and fun. “I find the creativity and talent surrounding Atomic Cowlick infectious!”

Lewis’ favorite Atomic Cowlick tee is Anchors Away, though it is hard to pick a favorite.

Madison Kelly

Madison was encouraged by friends to give modeling a try, so she did and hasn't looked back! She currently attends high school in NC, but is originally from Boulder Colorado. Madison finds inspiration in Coco Chanel and Lisa Eldridge's success which encourages her to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Her goal is to get her make-up artist license before college, graduate from college with a Business degree, and start a career working with a world renowned cosmetics company. On her down time, Madison enjoys her hobbies in sailing, running, hiking, shopping, Irish Dancing and make-up artistry. Madison is a big supporter of Special Olympics and Animal Rescue Groups. She is also a Francophile and continues to plan her dream trip to France and to attend Fashion Week in NYC.

Madison's favorite modeling experience was the Atomic Cowlick 2011 Halloween photo shoot. She had a great time being involved with the team on set and had a blast modeling the apparel and creative style.

Her favorite Atomic Cowlick Tee is Theme Park!

Faith McCoy

As an accountant by day and kickboxing instructor by night, Faith truly knows the meaning of working hard and playing hard. Along with being a certified instructor and personal trainer at the Raleigh Institute of Martial Arts, she is also a Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner. When she isn’t working, training or spending time with her bull terrier, Mr. Miyagi, Faith is an amateur seamstress/costume designer and enjoys attending cosplay conventions to showcase her handcrafted creations.

Faith’s favorite fashion style is the 1950’s inspired pin-up look because it reminds her of beautiful old photos of her grandmother, so she was ecstatic when presented the opportunity to be a part of the Atomic Cowlick Pin-Up/Rockabilly photo shoot! “I had the most amazing time with the inspiring Atomic Cowlick crew, brilliant photographer and gorgeous models, and feel so fortunate to have been a part of this fantastic project!”

Her favorite Atomic Cowlick tee is Octopus Ship

Jana Angel

Jana began modeling at a young age with local fashion shows and print work in her home town of Rock Hill SC. She moved to Raleigh to attend NC State on a full scholarship to play volleyball and represented the Wolfpack for four years on the court! She is now finishing her double major in International Studies and Interpersonal Communication. Jana has worked on modeling assignments in New York and for some amazing designers and photographers which have range from wedding dresses to holding an octopus for Atomic Cowlick. Jana is constantly inspired by people she meets, “People are amazing creatures with such varying talents, I love learning about people and being surrounded by them.” On her spare time, Jana enjoys shopping, coaching volleyball, finding new workout programs and is a personal trainer... “I of course love modeling, especially when the jobs are as fun as the Atomic shoots!”

Walking in a runway show in New York was Jana's favorite modeling experience. The energy, knowledge and atmosphere were such a priceless combination.

Jana is obsessed with the Indian Chief sweatshirt which is her favorite Atomic Cowlick design and style.
